Explosion at Namo/Berger

An explosion took out a section of wall at the Namo/Berger plant in Mesa, Az and caused a small brush fire. Company employees and fire department quickly put out the fires. Local news reported no injuries.

Good to hear there weren't any injuries. I'm sure it was section of the facility tooled for making the 156's we have all been waiting on, why?!?!

I would suspect being an explosion, it was the loaded ammunition area. A friend's in law who is employed there indicated the powder isn't distributed there and I'm sure the loading of ammo is not near the bullet making machines. Just like in California, Namo/Berger won't sell retail from this facility.

Liked the post bc there were no injuries. Got to check those PSM areas regularly!!
