I live in AZ.

I do not think I have shot enough in the rain to give an educated opinion. I have hunted in rain and snow, but honestly, I could count on one hand how many shots I have taken in the rain. In no way does that qualify me to give an experienced answer.

No kidding! As someone who's a third-gen AZ hunter, with over fifty years in the field, I say "rain, what is this rain they speak of"?

This is a great thread as I've read this article and always thought shooting in the rain would have an effect on my bullet but now I think I'm confident that it won't. At least a noticeable amount.

I'm posting this not to brag but as an example......I shot the 1000yrd Fclass national record......in the the rain. IMO it has little to no effect....but could.
