What are you getting for groups???

Thanks
Len & Jill

Yeah its upper edge for sure....I should probably tone it down now with other rifles in the safe now. This build and load was one of my first so i was trying to get everything out of it.

Must be a fast barrel...
I'm loading 42gr of H4350
Under Hodgdons max load but I load to 2.92 COAL just squeezed into AICS mag.

I worked up and found this node with great accuracy and single digit ES. There are definite small pressure signs I am aware of and am choosing to live with cause it shoots so well.

I love the .260 Rem. I had one for a couple years.
I have had a 6.5SLR for about 8 years? 22" 1:8" pushing a 130 OTM at 2925fps over 43.3gr H4350.

I don't think 42.0gr of H4350 w. 130 OTM is a hot load. I just think the 26" must be a fast barrel, so enjoy that 2900fps over 42.0.
I ran 43.0 under a 140 HVLD in my old 26" 1:8" .260 Rem @ 2850fps. So 10gr less bullet and 1gr less powder should be easy on the bore.

Ok.... so the 260 has officially crossed over to the dark side...

A little to dark if you ask me... shooting match 29th then chassis will go for hydro dipping.....Kuiu Vias...

But when you have an extra stock laying around...why not throw together your original first ever long range rig....308 Win

Foreground....
Original SPS Varmint 308 barrel 26" 1:12", 3 port muscle brake. Boyd's laminate stock pillar bedded. Factory, straight from Remington RR action. Original SPS action was trued and PTG straight handle became 260. Bushnell 10x scope. Factory 26" barrel circa 2009 still shoots .75 moa with 175-178gr.
