One of my techs saw this video over the weekend and thought of me. I kind of geek out on the physics of and theory's on bullet flight.



I would love to see video/images of the transonic transition. Might be a little more difficult to achieve.

I love this kind of geek physics stuff.
The subsonic round was never and never will be stabilized. It was creating its own shock wave, it looked like it was flying canted along its path.

If you look close you can see rotation in the trail behind the bullet.
