CCI Primers not firing

Had a few FTF's in my Marlin .357Magnum with CCI primers. Probably due to the thicker primer cup, but with Fed205's I never had any misfires. I agree also it could also be where primers are crushed when seating with hand prime - so my conclusing is the CCI primers are harder and could also be more sensitive to crushing than Federal Primers.
