Bullet design for 30-30

I think I will try and contact one of the primer manufactures today. I am sitting here looking at a box of Remington express core lokt 30-30 ammo. The SP design bullet is fairly pointed and hits right in the center of the primer. The lead must be soft enough to not dent the primer. We have a bullet designed that is very close to the profile of the core lokt. It would be fantastic for this application if it is safe.
