Biggest bullet in 22-250, 1:14 twist

morning, I shoot the barnes 53tsx and 55ttsx in my rem. SPS
223. the barnes bullets can b a pain when seating the bullet length
for accuracy. I do shoot 25.5grs of TAC ramshot powder. very
accurate load. the 55gr. TTSX I shoot hogs and deer. very
good clean killer. my rifle is a 12 twist. if I do my part
will shoot .500 constantly. justme gbot tum

Diggin' Up old stuff...
- could use some advise with my dads gun. It's a X-bolt Varminter, 1:14 twist. If the photo uploads, you can see how she groups. The target is @100 yds. He has tried 52gr factory ammo up to 55gr and none will shoot MOA. After some of the comments above, I'm wondering if 50gr might be a better choice with the considered twist rate?
Thanks y'all.
Yep, old thread but relevant now.
With the exception of the long, high-BC 53 gr V-Max, a 1:14 should stabilize bullets of those weights and under; handloading would improve accuracy too, of course.
FWIW, I'll never buy another .22 cal. centerfire with a slower-than 1:12" twist rate. My cheapo Savage FV .22-250 shoots both 53 V-Max handloads and (surprisingly) loaded off-the-shelf Federal Premium w/55 gr. NBT's very well.
