I'm going to start reloading bergers for my 300. I was wondering if any one had better luck with one grain over another. 168, 185 or 190? Either one more accurate or had better luck with one over the other?

To me the 300 Win Mag with a 10 twist and a Berger 210 is an awesome round. For sure my favorite 30 cal rig. Accuracy that will run with the best of them.

Thanks for the advice. I'd just heard that the accuracy on the 210 wasn't as easy to achieve as some of the lower grains. Do you have any issues with the length of the 210's

No, I have loaded them in many 300 wins including both my and my sons customs, as well as some 300 Senderos. Mag box length was never a problem even when seated .005" off the lands. Always found load work up easy with H-1000 and either a Fed 215 GM or a CCI 250. Took my bull this year with them at 803 yards.

I have been shooting the Berger 210 match, and they have been the best 5/8" at 300 yards with rl-22 and fed match primers. I have 1-10 twist barrel. My rifle did dot shoot the Hornady 208 very well, but 190 matchkings shoot sub inch too.

I'm shooting the 190 Hunting VLD's and I'm having awesome results. H1000 and Fed215 in my sendero.

Having real good luck with 210's in mine with RL 22! Had to mess with seating depth a bit longer than others.....

Walt recommended the 168 VLD for whitetails. I went with 76 grains RL-22 kissing the lands. Scary accurate and dropped one 200 pound WT like a rock@175 yards,
