Berger Match Hybrid Target 215 gr for Hunting?

You clearly don't know how magic works then do you. Can't cut open a reindeer and see how it flies.
I'm talking "Cut the bullet from point to base to show projectile construction" I am a retired custom bullet maker having made millions of projectiles over fifty years but I'm always willing to learn something new from an expert.

I hawked 1k of these bullets on GB not too long ago, the only thing impressive I found about these bullets is what some jackwagon was willing to pay for them, supporterism makes people extremely stupid and I'm always willing to help a fool part with his money

still have 500 pcs and they'll fly on GB at 3x their actual value, like I said.... people are stupid
And this is the reason components are hard to find and expensive when you do find them.

I hope the people he is ripping off remember this when things normalize and you can get components easier.
Whoa....it is not ripping off, gouging, or anything other than the way things should be. He was willing to sell something, put a price on it, and someone bought it. No force, fear, only pure willingness was involved. I may and dont buy lots of things for many different reasons, and I will never bash or speak ill of someone for putting a price on something for people to voluntarily purchase.

Blithering morons like you always crying about things you are 100% ignorant about, bidding is a process where folks bid on stuff with their own money, NOT YOURS ! To win & buy the products at THEIR maximum self established price, not the sellers ....,

A little too much Communism leaking out your mouth there Comrade !

Swamplord what is your experience with this bullet to form this opinion. Not a challenge, I'm curious to learn more about this bullet and others experience with them.
Couple of late fall blueberry black bear were the only game I shot with the 215's a number of years ago, they shot bugholes at the bench with my 300 RUM and from reading Broz's reports of dumping elk over n over I figured I should try the bullet as my requirements were to anchor the black bear STAT

I was hunting the steep high country in the mountains of Seward, Alaska, while shots were "cross canyon" neither of the shots were over 400 yards due to the steep terrain, The bullet worked as reported by Broz, it smashed through both shoulders and anchored the blackies DRT, a saving grace ! Searching for a fall blackie in the steep mts and 7 ft tall grass and impenetrable alder patches wasn't something I had time for !

Only issue I had wasn't really an issue with the bullet, just a matter of short range coupled with high velocity at impact, both shoulders on both blackbear were ragged & bloodshot beyond salvage, a sad waste of meat on good blueberry bear

The 200 gr Accubond worked just as well in dumping blackies at that range with far less wasted meat so I never used anymore of the 215's

Not so much a bullet failure ... just used in a manner which was conducive to the end results

I live in Florida and there used to be gouging of hurricane supplies when ever a storm was coming. They outlawed that and it no longer happens. You could argue this is different but I still think it sucks.
If I had bought supplies from that guy before and he referred to me as a jackass for now paying his exorbitant prices, Id keep it in mind going forward.
You see it differently and thats cool.

Take a deep breath and let that inner Marxist brewing in your mind out .....

Far too many fat, well fed commies in this country

I didn't have any "exorbitant prices" set ... prices were set by bidders and in a free country, Y'know "America" bidding is a free process, Socialists like you want to curb and control anything free in this Nation

I've spent a lifetime in construction and every aspect of construction is a free bid process, Socialists like you seek to eliminate free bid with commie catch phrases like "gouging" & "exorbitant prices" , well, none of that occurs in a free bid process, buyers compete by bidding on something they really want and sometimes it gets very competitive and some items get sold at unexpected prices

If you have have trouble understanding how to "Freedom" then I have bad news for you

And I'm a complete smart ***. Lol
I was completely joking around when I posted that. Sorry I forgot the sarcasm font.

Dude im a capitalist first and foremost.
Im also a doctor whose fees are set by the government.
I get supply and demand and when there is less the wholesale price goes up and its passed on to consumers but 800 for a lb of powder or 250 for 1000 primers goes beyond that imo.
So let me ask you something Mr Free Market- If you or someone you love needed medical care to stay alive, would you be ok with bidding on it?
Maybe you lose and die or maybe you win but are bankrupted, but its " free market". You OK with that?

Completely agree I do t like prices but can't fault a guy who spent his hard earned money planned ahead bought more than he needed only to find down the road it was worth way more and sold for a profit. It's a bummer when hoarders hoard things some may really need but they prepped better.
Same thing with hurricanes shouldn't be outlawed. If I'm the guy when times are good to take my hard earned money and buy supplies and generators and forgoes buying the new boat why shouldn't I be compensated for that?. Beside who the f would live in Florida and not think or plan ahead. I only vacation in Florida and know they get hurricanes on the regular. Why not some supplies and a generator before. It's like live here and not buying a snow shovel till it's 3' deep. Hoping it won't snow has never worked for me.
