I had the handle come off a 700 bolt this weekend. I have looked around and seen some people/gunsmiths are using 3 screws in addition to silver solder to reattach them. I am also going to have them attach an aftermarket (Badger maybe) handle. Who would any of you suggest to do this work? Thanks.

It's true... we can fix your handle, and put the knob on. The three screw method has proved to be weak also and we now have diferent method for re-enforcing the handle.

Nate, not to be picky but this post is 5 years old. I'd bet he probably got a new handle put on by now.:D But Dan does do a very nice job of tig welding handles on, so does Nate Dagley.
