6mm 105gr A Max

Just a quick question... Anyone have any incite to whether or not 105 Gr A Max's will be shoot well out of a 22 inch 1-9 1/8 barrel? What would be an optimum bullet for that twist speed?

The 105's shoot great out of my Savage 12 243 it is a 1-9 twist. Mine like 40.8 grains of Reloader 17.

Nope wont work, just have to send those A-maxs to me!!!

Seriously though, that might be a tad slow on the twist. I shoot mine out of a 6br in a 8 twist at 2750fps.

I have a 1/8 23" barrel on my 234 AI and running the 105 AMAX and 107 Sierras at 3250. The sierras are more accurate and easier to find. Downside is they are more expensive.

I also shoot these in moly with no pressure issues

Shooting the 105 Amax's out of a 243AI with a 1-9 twist, shoot great. I'm using VV-N165
