6.5-284 loads with available powders

55.0 RL26 behind a 142 ABLR in Lapua brass with 210M primers is a good load for mine (3090 fps). Did have a pressure spike once when hot but not on another. Was taking my father in law and friends shooting so ammo/gun may have soaked up more rays than normal. Mine's a hunter, not a comp gun, so I'd rather be near the top on the load. If I were to go to a comp, I'd want a load backed off to the 2950 node and shoot a target bullet. My smith swears on H4381SC and a Berger 140 for that chamber.
 
+1 for RL23, I tried H4831sc, H4350, RL 26 and a few others, but RL23 was the best for accuracy and just behind RL 26 for speed. 52.4 gr, 143 ELDX, Lapua brass, BR-2 primer, .035 off the lands, 2950fps from 24" barrel.
