6.5 120amax performance

    Any info on performance on varmints, currently diving them to 3325fps accuracys good, did some forum searches didnt find much on it , thought someone might know something about it, thanks.

    I'll let you know. I just loaded fifty rounds to take p-dog hunting. I am shooting them at a slower velocity out of a 6.5x55 with N560 powder. I am shooting about 3050 fps.

    OK, I tried the 120 A-Max on a couple of trips and I am really impressed. Decent BC, bucks the wind, and quite a splat factor. I am kind of torqued that I can not locate more of them locally. I would imagine at the higher velocity of something along the lines of a 6.5x284 or .264 Win Mag, the 120 A-Max would launch a p-dog right out of Wyoming and into western Nebraska.
