6-284 and 105gr bullet

Update on my loads:

56.5 gr on Ramshot Magnum with 117 DTACs (suggest backing off a few gr for safety)

Around 3240 fps depending on weather

1 in 8 twist 27" jumping .10 thou

Amazing accuracy...going to work up a load in my 280AI and my 6.8SPC using this powder.

Never would have considered it but someone on another forum said they did.

Does this cartridge launch em fast enough to stabilize them, or will they be more of a headache?

I was planning on shooting the 87s

You sure could launch an 87grainer with some smoking velocity but I would personally pick something heavier for the 6-284, you might see some explosive performance at that velocity... which could be just fine, depending on what you're shooting at.

You can play with this to see if your twist will stabilize the 105.
