It looks like the shroud is a straight taper back from the bolt handle to the back of the bolt. The pictures of the 8000 on lawtons web page show something with a dual radius like a rem 700.
Barney has changed the shroud shape is all. Looks cleaner i think. They come in the white when i get the actions as a kit form. I anodize them to what ever color i desire.
