I'm having another 338 Edge Chambered.
My first 338 Edge, I bought used and I have no idea what the original chambering was.
Is there a certain freebore that the 338 Edge is "normally" chambered for?
Or is everyone using a standard reamer spec?
With how long the bullets are seated in my current 338 Edge, this new Edge will be a single shot only as well.
How much run do you leave to "chase the lands" in a bigger magum like this?
If you know what bullet you are using, do you chamber the barrel so the bullet is kissing the lands with .100" to .200" below where the neck starts to open up?
Your thoughts?
Thanks
