what chambering makes a better long range precision rifle, and why. I am really likeing the rem 700 varmint chambered in 300wsm, they are only 500 bucks but the stock sucks so that will cost you at least 200 more, everyone says the 7mm will kick its but. what do you think? Lee

Both will make a good long range rig but as far as trajectory is concerned if your shooting bergers in both the 7mm should be a flatter shooting weapon. I went with the 300wsm because of the wider selection of bullets and a little bit more knock down power. I cant say anything bad about either. Just my 2cents
