Hi to the devotee's of long range fun

Looking for some advice on suitable loads for the 300 Weatherby using 180 grain bullets (which will be Barnes TSX, Berger VLD or Nosler partition).
I use H1000 in my 257 weatherby and 7mm Rem mag, so using the same powder would be a help, but isn't critical.

I would also be interested to see what loads are working for other for the 257 weatherby - well, just because its interesting.
Main bullet weight here is 115/117 grains.

And yes, in case you were wondering I do have a medical condition that makes me want to shoot Weatherby calibres, no need for a cure though, I'm enjoying the affliction...

My 300 Weatherby likes 78 gr IMR 7828 and flat base 180 gr Nosler Partition bullets. Glad to have you on board. in fact that is the load and rifle that took the sheep in the picture at 473 yards.
