30/06 hand loads. Have tried the 168 up to 190 long range accubond with RL22 and Norma MRP. Am looking at the IRM4350 for the 168gr. Any suggestions..shooting a browning xbolt hells canyon speed 24'' barrel. shooting good out to 400, am hoping to achieve a round thats solid out to 500

56.5gr WIN 760 is getting me 2937fps with 168 Berger Hybrid and 2948fps with 168 ELD-M out of a 24 inch Krieger. Both under 20 ES. Conveniently both are within .5in POI. Great rock killers past 1000 and very effective deer killers inside 700. Starline brass

Sounds like your on the right track. My most accurate load is
  • IMR 4350
  • Fed 210 or 210M
  • Berger 168 Hybrid

My hunting load is a Rocky Mountain 165 gr and more or less the rest is the same.

The 168 Berger Classic Hunter was very easy to load in the grandson's 30-06 with H4350. Was the first Classic Hunter bullets we've ever tried. Now loading the 140gr version for two .270 Win.

H4350 with 180 gr bullets. 1/2 Moa on several guns. Over 25 years..
node is around 2835-2850.
Load is usually around 57-58 grains

never had a 06 not like that combo
Most accurate bullet has been a flat base bullets. All my guns really like the Hornady interlock flat base 180 grain bullets. Next was the accubond.

Also found rl 26 is a good option with 06 in 180. Sub Moa. Both loads easily held under Moa out to 450 yards.

If gun will not shoot those two you might start checking your rig on things.
if that not the problem get new gun.

My Rem 700 with 22 inch barrel really likes RL 26 and 180 Accubonds, 63.8 grains produces 2860 FPS. This is without any high pressure indications at all and very good accuracy.
It was very luckily that I got 5 pounds before the shortage but recently there are reports of RL 26 coming back on the market.

I load 59grs Ramshot hunter or 59grs h 4350 with a fed 210m or c c i 250, using a 168 Barnes t ts x. I get 2800 over a Lab radar. Sub M o a out to 500 yards.
