I have 30 162 ELDM's loaded up in new Peterson brass with RL23. If I can get myself to the range, I will post the results. Too many distractions this time of year. The fish are biting and the weeds are growing.

I think he means slower as in lower velocity not burn rate. H4831 has been about 100 fps slower than R 26. I have some R23 but have been reluctant to try it as I have not seen any on shelves in a while.

I found it to get me about 50 fps more than 4831sc.

59.6 RL 23, 175 EH, 26 inch. Getting 2950. 300 yard zero works good for me.

He would have gain velocity with the silencer on the barrel. A silencer generally increases velocity.

We run suppressors on all our rifles and checking velocities there's a negligible difference certainly nothing of note speed wise.
