I am excited to go tell all my hunting buddies about these things. Finally a good looking boat tail behind a Nosler. The higher b.c. will reduce wind drift and benefit less skilled hunters, and long range marksmen alike, but I think the advertised b.c. is a little deceptive.

We have a 210 gr. 30 cal. bullet. That sectional density is .316 and a length is 1.550. Tangent ogive of ,i could guess, 11 calibers? Really long boat tail. All this adds up to a .366 g7 b.c.

That is g7 form factor ~.863.

I did, in fact, laugh out loud.

I would guess a b.c. of .320 might be in the ballpark. maybe.

Two questions: How phenomenal must that extra long boat tail be, and does any have a more accurate b.c. than advertised?

Ya they are decent performers. That said, i shot some custom made bullets in the same gun and the first trip to the range i got a 1/2" group from a shaky bench. I think i can get it under .3 at 100 yards.
