165 vs. 168 Nosler BT

I hear the 168 is for magazines that are longer and the 165 is for short mags with limited magazine space, then I hear the 168 has a thicker jacket. anyone know the real scoop.

Jacket thicknest doesn't vary much between the two the 168 is longer, it has aa longer ogive and boatail and a higher bc, that's why they are typically harder to find than the 165s. There just a better bullet period!
