Ben sent us a picture of his 10 year old daughters first Idaho Buck, shot at a distance of roughly 150 yards. She was using a 7-08 and the 120 Hammer Hunter Bullet sitting on top of 42gr of Varget. Ben self scored the deer at 142.

This is so great! We have a 2 day youth hunt in MD (11/12 and 11/13) and this is my son's last year to take advantage of it at 16. These kids are so lucky to be in the woods in the peak of the rut with a rifle! I tell my son that some kids get the opportunity to shoot the buck of their lives on these days. Your daughter will never forget this. It's the kind of memory a good kid deserves to have. Congrats to her!

I had two tags and filled them both yesterday. But won't be taking any pictures haha. Both does. But it was my last day to go hunting, groceries are unaffordable, and I had decided I would take anything I could cuz I WANT MEAT! .

But there's probably almost as much meat on this young lady's fine specimen than there is on both my does combined haha.
