The 7mm SAUM definitely looks better than the 7mm WSM thanks for that!! But what do you guys think about its life? Are they going extinct? I mean the brass is quite expensive and I've heard a lot of people saying they are only going down hill from here.

So when you say a new bolt, does that mean a new action as well or just modify the old bolt or do i need a new bolt all together?

Hi everyone, I'm looking at getting a 243 soon and I want to convert it to 243 ackley improved to be more unique and have more fps. Can someone explain the process of converting it? Do i need a new barrel, does it cost much etc... Info on how to get the gun converted is greatly appreciated...

I have heard of the Ackley improved cartridges and I also LOVE wild cats, however is there anyway of getting say a 243 AI without custom building a rifle? How do I get one? And without being expensive, I want this to be a reasonably cheap build.

Brass for 338 rum $4 per brass compared to $2.25 for 300 rum. Bit too expensive for me I think, but a 338 has a lot of power and Im sure recoil would make me not as accurate with a gun that big. In future I can neck up to 338 edge if I feel the need too.
