I am going to try out some of the 168gr TSX in my 300WSM and would like to know what powders have worked for others. I have H4350, Ramshot Hunter, H4831sc, Magpro, and IMR4350. Any help would be great. The gun is a Rem 700 XCR.

OK... if my scope has 1/4 min adjustment at 100yd what value would that be at 200, 300, 400 etc?

All three of my rifles are are free floated, so maybe it wouldn't have any effect if I keep whatever I am resting the gun on away from the barrel.

how many shots can a stainless barrel take before accuracy starts to fall off and how can a person extend the life of the barrel. If I get a load or two that my gun likes I would like to keep it that way as long as I can.

I like the idea of a new rifle and if I do go with a new rifle I am looking hard at the 300wsm in a Remington XCR. The only problem is I don't know if I want to give up the advantages of 200 to 300fps that the 300 RUM has over the 300wsm when it comes to the longer range elk hunting.
