Retumbo and H1000 are out. Next up is US869. Got a feeling this one is going to put me right were I want to be. Hope to have it worked over with results by this weekend. 76gr of H1000 put me just at 3,230fps 78gr of Retumbo ran 3,278fps (Both are pretty much max in this barrel)

Oh yeah, I have a full report on this rifle. Just wish I wasn't running 2 to 4 weeks behind. IF that were not the case, I would have many loads run and likely be at that 500 round mark by now. Between weather, shipping error, you name it, everything has been set back a week if not two...

Hey thanks! Where did you find that 26 Nosler Load info at? I had searched a little but hadn't hit it hard just yet. I am going to drop the Retumbo charge and run a few out this evening. If all goes well I will get switched to H1000 and see what it does on Saturday.

I do have both of those on hand. Just need to figure out the start loads on those.

79gr of Retumbo with the 140gr Berger in this 8 twist is a little hot. Too much psi. Back to the drawing board. BTW it ran 3315fp on the Magnetospeed. Shot better, but I only ran 3 rounds at 300.

My hunting bullet inventory for the 6.5 is virtually zero at the present time. Hope to get that changed shortly. Until then.. That is 250SMK not 225 obviously. For some reason I cannot edit that post.

I failed to mention the Magnetospeed was in place for all 20 shots. I didn't work that brass, Nosler did, and yes it was annealed. I have never had really great groups with the MSpeed on any barrel. The zero POI shift is always noticeable.

Initial 20 rounds of the factory 129's are history. I was wanting to get a feel for 100 to 500yrds and this is what I came up with. 20 rounds, Avg 3317 with ES of 60 and SD15. 100yrd Zero, 3.25 at 300, 4.75 at 400, 7.5 at 500yrds. Shot my 6CM (just finished last fall) right next to this...
