here's the note i sent them:
"As a longtime hunter and conservationist, i urge you to do the right thing for the truly endangered species here, the Rocky Mtn Elk. The canadian grey wolves that were transplanted in Yellowstone Park and then immediately left, are decimating our herds. The populations of elk in montana , wyoming and idaho are at 10% of their numbers since before the introduction of wolves and wolves are now attacking livestock, pets and even people. The usfws told us before the transplant that the target goal was for 2-300 animals in yellowstone park, but there are over 5000 now in the three states i mentioned. The only sensible policy to have for wolves is an open season, shoot on site policy anywhere outside the park. Please do the right thing before it is to late too save our game populations.
