I'm told the just guy just wanted to see what would happen if he stuck the end of
his shotgun's barrel in the water and pull the trigger... He did SEE IT!!!

A few years back my father and i were at our local gunsmiths shop , he had a 4-10 barrel that looked very similar to this one hanging on the wall . Dad asked him what had happened and he said well the other day a BIG burly red headed fellow came in with TWO black eyes and his nose bandaged up amnd with a squeeky voice asked can you fix it . he said he looked at it and asked "what happened ? " The fellah told him that while hunting Rabbits in the snow he fell down got right back up without giving it any thought and kept on hunting . When he finally got one in his sites he pulled the trigger and everything got real interesting :D His barrel had gotten packed with snow ouch !

Bet the guy that tested that choke tube for duribility was the same guy with the stick chasin off bigfoot in Roys video in the humor section.:D:D No wonder he only had a stick. He must be REAL TOUGH:D:DHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAHAAHA

bigbuck,
That's not easy to do! Ha ha... no, I haven't done it yet!!! Not tough! Haaaa

This threads got me wondering if sticking the barrel into someone's side like in the movies and pulling the trigger, would the barrel blowup? I'm sure no one's tested it but, any theories. I guess one could test it on animal they just shoot...ya know jammed right against the hide...oh and maybe a long piece of string.

Doubt it, but it may be possible. I can tell you that it wont work with a 22lr. Tried it on critters before. But then again we used to take nickles and put em' on the end of our berrells pointed strait up and let er' rip too (real stupid.....I mean real tough...) I think my buddy Ed got the record with 6 nickles. Mainly due to the nervous twitch the rest of us got from the lead and coin fragments pummeling us we all shook too hard to ballance more than 5. Eddie won, and got a small scar for his efforts, but no banana peel barrel from that either.

Too funny:D.

A 22 LR will shoot under water with no ill effects as long as you have a round chambered before you put the barrel into the water. It's amazing what things country kids learned 50 years ago.....lol. And still survived!!
