Shooting off your house’s deck

Roy, fire in the hole...I thought in your previous post you said "When the wife isn't home"? You mean you do this when she's home? God bless, my wife won't even let me shoot a few rounds off on New Years or the fourth.

i shoot my blackpowder cannon for those holidays and that only gets me a si and dirty look doesnt bat an eye for rifles off the porch i m going to put a 2x12 on top of the hand rail for my next house so i can put the shooting rest on it

View from kitchen window. You can see why those willow 'bushes' have gotta go. Limit shooting distance to the sage beyond the swamp. 413 yards. A good yote crossing.

Heck! I'm LMAO at my own stuff........ I get a kick out of me.

Yup the willows gotta go. Roy you said "LMAO at my own stuff" **** man you made my day...I do the same thing. Sometimes I'll say or do something and start laughing and the wife or kids (there in their 30's) look at me in amazement...oh well to me it was funny. It's good to be able to make yourself laugh...keeps ya young.

Never in my wildest dreams did I think my question would spawn this much humor.

I can hardly see my screen for the teared up eyes from laughing!!!!

Good stuff...

My belly is sore now.

You wanted pics....and I think you got more than you bargained for.

Did it ever occur to you that you would see roy's 'real' shooting platform?

i dont have any pics as we are in a sort of remodeling phase, but out setup used a porch rail, a bipod and rear bag, and a computer chair with the back off(couldnt very well waste a good one) my wife was the last one to use the old setup to take a deer, 6pt about 200yds DRT. will post some pics once the new porch is there.

Waaaaaahahahahahahahaha! You guys are killing me!

I've shot many a dogfood steelin' bird my own self! Starlings and Grackles are the worst offenders. A 50gr ballistic tip screaming out of my 22-250 makes it look like a bomb went off in the **** bird.

Roy, at least you get half the bed, I've spent several nights on the couch or in a recliner.
