22 caliber. I figured what the hell I'm already in over my head with centerfire rifle's, just dipping my feet into building different AR's, now I'm into PCP rifles as well. I may be spreading my resources very thin!338 dude....you just crossed through the worm hole to the dark side of the universe. You will enjoy your time with that PCP. What caliber did you choose for your new Hydra?
All I can tell you is watch out the AR bug bit me pretty hard!Well that rings true with me. I'm "pretty much"(lol) setup with my air rifles. Now I'm starting to get the AR bug.
No. at least not compressed air ones that I'm aware of. I shoot a Impact FX3 Sniper 25cal. with leupold 4-20 vx5 no issuesJust a question for all you Air Rifle shooters.
Do you need a special type of SCOPE on an air rifle? Years ago I was told that recoil was different and need a AR Scope.
I always want to get a GOOD Air Rifle, but don't need one. Some people get them so they can shoot on their property and the neighbors don't know, Shooting is inexpensive - just need air and lead.
I can shoot as much as I want and not effect the neighbors and have enough bullets and powder to last my lifetime.
But AMAZIED at the power in them. You can shoot large game with them.
Only for the piston spring guns, they have an initial small recoil then when the piston hits a reverse recoil (similar to what a muzzle brake does) and this can knock a lot of reticles loose. Scopes for these guns should be rated for use with this type of gun. Top end scopes should all handle it OK.Just a question for all you Air Rifle shooters.

Oh man, that there is some funny stuff!! Saving money, I mean. My air tank was nearly twice the cost of my Gauntlet 'll. Guy behind the counter says, And you can get a bottle, if you don't want to hand pump. We fill it for x dollars.Lol! Should have an air tank by the end of the week. There's a paintball outfit about 5miles from my house that'll fill it for a few bucks. The Kratos was shipped to me with a nearly-full bottle, but that precious air is waning. Just enough air to get dialed in and plink a little bit. Probably sent around 60 shots so far. I don't think this is a sport to get into to save money…
