Alright fellas if ya been following Kevins Woodchuck hunt '08 thread we said their was gonna be at least another one this year. Probably May will be the first one.

Just wanted to start this to see what interest their was for attending. Please PM me or Kevin or post here to let us know. We will only be able to take about five people tops each time.

I know I had a blast last year and I'm pretty sure all other attendees also did. Some real nice equipment showed up and even nicer shooters.

Couple of months.....chucks beware!!

P.S.
I will be in no way responsible for the purchase of a Russo Laminate or MCR rifle after this hunt! :D

I will come again being as I probably will need to pick up another stock. Good thing I have 5 months to think up a new excuse. I doubt I can get away with claiming I forgot to zero my rifle again. :D

Looks like that may be the first 5 for the May hunt. If someone can't make the first one I'm sure we'll do another. JUDD and I will let everyone know a date when it gets closer.

I know JUDD and I would like to find some spots elsewhere in PA, we heard Mansfield area has a good population. If anyone would like some company this year we'd love to join you.

i wouldnt mind seeing kevin make another 1302 shot.
i could evaluate wether buffolobob could have handled a female wildcat. turkey season would be open.
the camp needs cleaning.
air fares are cheap again
i could find out who virginia boyd is
there are probably other reasons
but there are already more than five guys

Timl don't worry bout that....U could use my new gun and I'm sure some of the other gentlemen wouldnt mind letting u sqeeze a couple out of theirs. If we can stay in the #1 spot shots are anywhere from 500-1000+. #2 spot can get up to 1300-1400+.

Or you could always man the grill....just don't start it up to early Bob thinks we cook all our groundhogs.....lol

Ernie, not to be critical but that chuck last year was 1301 not 1302. :D I've killed them further than that too. I got one at 1845 meters according to my Wild which translates into 2017 yards back in 2005 with the same gun.

Ernie if you make it up to PA anytime this year to "clean the camp" give me a shout I'll see that we get together and do some chuck hunting.
