Hornady 200gr ELD-X loads for the 30-06

I bought a Voere 300 H&H 26"and I am shooting a 200 gr eld x at 2710 fps. Do any one know what the drop will be at 750 yards

Way too many variables to do that over the internet, but I'm thinking you'll be around -156"-160".

Not sure what good my answer will be for your particular situation. The best way to answer it is shoot it.

As jgs8163 said, There are online calculators you can use to enter your data, and there are ones you can download to your phone it would be best for you to do this.

I don't know if you are understanding us or not, but we are trying to help you in the best way possible. Please go to the Burris website and use their online calculator for what you are trying to do. There is really no other way to do it and obtain satisfactory results other than shoot it, then enter data, but the calculator on the Burris site will get you close.
 
Thanks. I did check, but they do not have a drop no. for the 200 eld x. I think i must select a 200 and go and test it. Thanks again
 
Hi guys. I tested my 300 HH today and shot a 3/4" group at 100m and 1.3/4" group at 300m. 200 eld-x at 2740fps. Do you guys think thats good enough?
 
Accuracy seems fine, 2740 FPS for a 300 H&H with a 200 gr bullet sounds a little slow for handloading, but your rifle seems to like them there, so I'd run it. Your load is as fast as the old Western Cartridge Company's load though, for a 200gr.
By my calculations (and I warn you, math was never my strong suit) you will need 19.55 moa come up based on Hornady's ballistics calculator for that bullet at that speed, and elevation of 0 -3000 ft, temp 59 degrees, at 750 yards.

Your bullet drop based on MOA = 1.047" X 750 yards /100 = 7.8525 Taking that number 7.8525 X your come up of 19.55 MOA = bullet drop of 153.5"
