Here are the pics of a 338 Snipe-Tac rifle i just finished for a guy in Arizona. The stock has a snow camo pattern, gel coat finish, colors: white, gray, 5% green.

Specs on the rifle:
338 Sniper-Tactical cartridge, (338-408c-t improved)
Viersco stainless repeater action
Mike Rock heavy fluted bbl, 32", 9.5"twist with brake
Lone Wolf carbon fiber stock, snow camo pattern
3 round detachable magazine
Dry rifle weight without scope, 13.25#

The rifle will have a IOR 6x24 35mm tube scope on top. I will be breaking in the bbl later this week, i will post the group pics.

What a beautifull piece of equiptment you have made if it shoots half as well as it looks it will be awsome

XP,
I have the action about 50% completed, my only decision is if i want a shorter action that will only eject a fired case or one that is 1" longer and will eject a loaded round.

Bill,
If i remember correctly they are around 350.00. If you want 100% carbon fiber, add 150.00 to the price. This same stock in all carbon with out a gel coat weighs around 22 oz.

Delivery time 45days on average

I mounted the scope today(IOR 6x24 35mm tube)the only problem was the rings were to high. I called Val at IOR and he is sending a low set in replacement. I did get a chance to weigh the complete rifle with all the amenities, it came in at 15.4# I have the fire forming and break in loads ready but the rings will not be here until late next week. I may put on a old scope for testing, i should have some group pics this weekend.

From a earlier post in "Optics" we were discussing IOR scopes and customer service. I have the same scope on my personal 338 Snipe-Tac rifle, this summer it developed a problem with the side focus adjustment. I talked with Val about it and he told me to take the scope off the rings and re-mount it, only use 12-14 inch# on the screws. I did this and the side focus knob now turns freely. It was a quick and easy fix, he also said that i could send it back for inspection-repair if i liked. "The IOR rings are pretty massive and easy to get to tight" he said. Good customer service!
