XLR Industries Evolution Chassis System Review

You are welcome!
You might have mentioned this earlier, have you shot your's much yet? What are your feelings on this new chassis?
I used to think a chassis was what was under my automobile. :)

i have.i worked up a load and have basically stuck with that one load.it gave me half inch groups at 100 so that's where i stopped.i have use it in the field a little as well for groundhog hunting.i was concerned about getting use to the pistol grip but it just seemed natural.i also like the amount of adjustment it gives me.

i was going to do a video today but when i went to shoot the battery died.anyway, this is the group i shot with the 338 edge at 100 yards.gun)

Nice write up.

Nice shooting as well.

Now ideally someone else will do a write up of the TAC-21 chassis that Brownell's and Sinclair carry to help me narrow down choices.

if i had one i would write you a review.:)the tac-21 seems to be a well built chassis but it has its limitations from what i read up on when searching for a chassis.they are priced higher than the xlr chassis depending on what type of buttstock you buy and they only have inlettes for long and short action remington 700s.there is a rumor about a possible savage short action comming in the fall but thats all i have heard on that.this might be of some help. http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2625016

Thanks much for the link. I had seen the original post on that site but had missed this thread.

Interesting.

I think I would lean towards the XLR if I was to pull the proverbial trigger now.

this is a short video of the xlr in action for 3 shots

Thought of this chassis, but also considering Manners MCS T5A stock. Like the idea of the folding stock on the XLR chassis, and the very solid platform of the Manners stock.
Any Ideas of Thoughts?
