I've got a Larue 260 Rem with a 22 inch barrel due to be delivered soon. Anybody have an opinion on shooting the 130 grain bullet vs 140 grain for targets out to 1k in the 260? 1/8 Twist.
thanks

What powder you running?I built a 6.5SLR for my daughter. Very similar performance to the .260Rem.
When it had a 28" barrel, I loaded the 140 VLDs. Now that it has burned out that barrel (2800+/-), I put a 22" barrel on it. 130 OTM @ 2925fps suppressed from a bolt gun. We have shot steel and rocks way out past 1300 with it. Plenty of bullet for that purpose. To be honest, 1000 doesn't even break a sweat for this bullet.

I wondered about the hybrid due to the fact that I will be loading to mag length. I'll try to find some. Thanks130 Berger AR Hybrid is by far the easiest bullet to develop a load with that I have ever used. Seating depth changes make very little difference. In the first trip to the range I identified most of the load with four rifles from 6.5 Grendel to 264WIN. Messed with primers a little to optimize SD loaded all the brass I have. Impressive results on game as well.
