[BC 300 why]

Guys I'm looking through gun cabinets and thinking about selling a few I no longer use. I could use a little assistance in estimating price on this one though. 300 weatherby magnum mark v in synthetic stock with 3x9 leupold vari-x II scope. Will come with approx 32 rounds of weatherby ammo also. A small amount of paint is chipped off trigger guard on left side and can be seen in pics. Other than that it is in great shape and been a safe queen. Less than 100 rounds through this gun.

A .30-06 and .340 Wby also recently sold on GB for $799. And a mint condition .340 Wby (which was mine) sold on GB for $905. I've been using GB as an estimator for market values for a while, and it's pretty close. However, your rifle is worth what someone is willing to pay. All three of these recent sales were rifle only.

Six Leupold VX-2 3-9x40mm gloss scopes have sold on eBay since Dec 1, 2021. The average sales price was $360. The gloss finish scopes in great condition are selling at a premium over the matte finish scopes.

You will bring home more money if you sell the rifle and scope separately. Most of the time people sell a combo they are almost giving away the scope. Hope this helps.

I stand corrected…I sold a Mark 5 Left Handed 257 WM in 2020 for $1250….which included 50 rounds of ammo and another 50 once fired brass….package sold on Z List Idaho…GLWS
