Hello, just bought a Weaver Kaspa 3-12x50 for not a bad price of £110.00 thinking would be a good dusk scope & have some early weavers which are good.
what are your thoughts on this model & how long have they been Chinese made.Cheers Mick

Kaspa, is the newest Weaver line made in China. There have been some good reviews on these considering the price range. I have Weavers but there all the Japan made units ( weaver t's and grand slams).

My old ones have glass from Japan never thought to check of origin of new models,i have some decent scopes that are from China like the Hawke digi nite eye.
Hope its ok but to me it has the feel of a cheaper brand not like the older models as you stated.
Any way i have it now just need to try it out, over here its cold & dark with wind & rain so will have to wait to zero it.
