Votex viper pst 4-16x50

I was reading a lot of people were dissapointed with the glass on the vortex 4-16x50, and that the 6-24x50 had much better glass. Is this still the case? I haven't read much in the last little bit and I am considering getting one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I bought one to try out(4-16x50sfp) heard the same bad things but mine is as clear and bright as my friends 6-24ffp. Go for it you will love it. Maybe the new lots are updated.

like mine more than a 6-24, almost as clear as my nighrforce 5.5-22. 6mm bullet holes at 200yards are easy to make out.

They both have great glass. I have been using both of the 4-16x50mm and the 6-24x50mm. I feel they both have great glass especially for the price. I like the 4-16x50mm a little more mainly due to the size of the optic.
