I'm torn between a 1-10" and a 1-11" twist. I'll mostly be shooting 180 grain ammo for longer range hunting.

What do you guys think??

I would chose the 1 in 10 for all bullet weights.

If for some reason you wanted to shoot lighter bullets the 1 in 10 is very good and best
for the heavy ones.

My Tikka has a 11 twist... but if I rebarreled it I would put a 10 twist on it to shoot the heavy weights.

I'm having one built with a 1-12. I only plan on shooting 175gr Bergers. If you check out their site a 1-12 is what they recommend for a 190gr VLD. So to answer your question go with the 1-11.

+1 for JE a 1-10 is the way to go. The 1-10 will stabalize everything from 150s to 200s and shoot sub MOA in the WSM all day long.
Best,
Ed
