Rate of Twist

    I picked up a Remington 700 Sendero in 7mm Ultra Mag, and I am trying to find out what the rifleing twist rate is in it, any help would be greatly appreciatedgun)Thanks

    If all else fails mark a cleaning rod and measure the distance it takes to make one complete revolution. ex. 1 rev. in 9" this should get you close. It doesn't say on Remingtons website?

    Thanks, couldn,t find it on Remingtons website at first but with a little more persistance it was found, Thanks Again and if anyone else is wondering it is 91/2 to 1

    I think they are 9 1/4. You can check it by using a solid rod with a patch. Mark the rod so you can tell when you get 360 degrees rotation and mark the distance traveled in inches for twist rate......Rich
