Last week I was camped at 9,500 ft. in the nearby Spring Mountains north of the Las Vegas valley. As I was laying down for an afternoon siesta after an arduous hike up I noticed a pinhead size hole beside the only floor seam in my solo Moment DW tent.

Today that entire seam gets re-sealed with Seam Grip for silnylon cloth. Tomorrow the entire outside of the floor gets coated with a mix of 5 parts odorless mineral spirits to 1 part GE Clear Silicone Caulk. The measurements are by volume. PM me if you need to know how to do this for silnylon tents B/C it is a 3 step process.

All this is to say that we need to have all our gear checked , repaired and ready for the fall hunts. The time to do it is now, just as it is time to practice at the range with our hunting rifles.
