Tall Target Test Results

Ive never seen anyone use a scope checker for a tracking test, but i dont see any reason it wouldt work.

It basically gets you out of rigidly mounting the optic because the primary optic can be used as your reference point. Good idea.

I also hang a scale very similar to picture you posted. It will self plumb that way.
 
Could someone set me straight on this. I did a tall target test at 100yds and came up .3 mil high. Does this error increase the further out you go or is it still shooting .3 mil high at 1000yds. I had notes on this but can't seem to find them. Thanks.
Also, this might be obvious, but you need to measure from the scope's turrets. Measuring from where you were sitting will not be as accurate.
