Mate ,just get on the net and have a look. Your heading is T/C,I presume you mean a Thompson Centre,I here they are a bit exy but you only get what you pay for.I have a Ruger 77 mk 2 VT. It has a heavy 26" barrel,I glass bedded the action and it shoots 1/2"groups.If you want acuracy you realy need a heavy barrel unless of course you are gunna do alot of walking. I used to carry a heavy barrel 22 250 around years ago,and a shotgun chasing foxes when they were worth 40 bucks a skin. In the end I sold it and bought a sporting action for the job because it was just too heavy,but I couldnt shoot nearly as well with it.So you see it does make a differance
