T/C Compass 2?

picked up a Thompson Compass 2 in 7mm Mag for $250 today, with the rebate it'll be $175. Wondering if anyone tried one before. I reload and plan to just use it as a loaner and spare.

Locally, I saw KY Gun Co has them for about 275 with free shipping right now so I got it cheaper after showing that.

The Compass is a very accurate rifle. And a great bargain at that price. I have many pricey guns and almost always grab my Ruger predator when I go hunting. Its bomb proof and very accurate and so easy to carry. This compass might become a favorite of yours.
