Anyone run a pair of Swarovski SLC 15's with a 2x doubler. I was thinking it might be a lighter option than carrying both binos and spotting scope. Doubler has been discontinued but a few are still around. Just wanted to hear some pros and cons before I take the leap.

See if someone will let you screw one on and look threw it.They are very limiting.Need nice day to use.I used one on my 10x el's and still have, might mod it for my terrapin Like Shawn C. did.I carry 24x rifle scope so no longer bring doubler. Its good only to reference trophy caliber across canyon, not for looking threw like even a small spotting scope is better.

They work very well, 2 work even better. I have carried a Ziess tripler on several goat/sheep hunts to keep it light. The tripler works well with 10-12x but just to limiting on the 20s.
