Sunshade for a Nikon Titanium 5.5x16.5-44

You simply need a tube that will slip fit over the scope's objective and spray paint it flat black on the inside so it absorbs light that hits the inside of the tube.

Get your reloading calipers and measure the outide diameter of the objective and then go measure the inside of every round tube you can find.

Crystal light containers will fit some scopes. PVC pipe will fit some. Sue Bee honey containers are worth measureing.

What is your purpose? Do you want to shield your scope from heat rising from the barrel, or would you just like to keep the sunlight from reflecting on your objective lens?

Good hunting. LB

BTW, I don't know where you can get a screw on shade? But, if it's a standard metric diameter, with standard metric threads, you should be able to use another brand, if you cannot find a Nikon?
