just bought a stevens 200 in .223 rem.put a cheap bsa platnum scope on it.blew some winchester full metal jacket 55's out of it to break barrel in.cleaned it every 5 for 20 shots.i loaded some 60 gr hornady soft points with imr 4064,and speer 70 gr soft points with imr 4064.factory ammo didnt shoot too well.but my both my handloads shot at or under .625 at 100 yards for 3 shots.and there is plenty of "tweaking" to be done.just got a box of sierra 69 gr matchkings for it too.my uncle has a savage in 22-250,my brother has one in 300wm(long range rig),i have one in 300wm(long range rig),now this one in .223.they all shoot very well for a factory rifle.jason
