    Nice looking rifle.
I have been thinking of doing something with a Stevens action myself.
    Is the stock comb adjustable?

Have you had a chance to shoot it for accuracy yet?

The comb is not adjustable. It comes in two different sizes but that is the smaller of the two. I havent made it to the range yet the temperatures are getting a little low in Iowa which is where i am. I am definently anxious to shoot it though.

Sounds like the cheekpiece is removable. Yes?

I have that same stock, did you modify the stock to get that cheekpiece on? There isn't a slot for that screw in the top of the stock.

    Great looking rifle!

All you do is screw the piece on. It can be placed anywhere along the cheeckpiece. If you take it off then there will be a hole in the cheekpiece.

Thanks! The temperatures are going down here and snow is on the horizon in Iowa so the chances of getting to the range are very limited so I dont know when a range report will be possible. But I will sure try.
