software accuracy

How accurate and dependable do you find ballistic software to be as fat as bullet drop and wind drift?

The reason I ask is I can't afford to shoot groups at every 25 yards to develop my own, nut I want to be accurate at the same time.

Most current software is extremely accurate.

But, it's only as good as (a) the inputs you provide, and (b) the precision of your shooting system.

Only input that concerns Me is scope height. What's the most accurate way to measure that?
