All,

I'm looking to add a sig cross to my collection. It will be used for short range deer hunting. 99% of shots inside 200 yards. One field which MAY get hunted does have a 400 yard possibility but I'd likely bring a different rifle. I do reload but currently not setup for 308 or 6.5creed. The sig cross comes in 16in 308 or an 18in 6.5cm. Which would you get and why? As an fyi, the reason I want this is because of the ease of stock adjustments and the short barrel. It will not be suppressed since that's illegal here in NY.

For 5-600 Yards or, less,.. on Deer / Antelope, etc., go with, the 6.5 Creed and,.. 130 to 143 grain bullets,..
Less Recoil and LESS Powder, used and,.. "Plenty" for, Deer sized Game
Zero Rifle at, 200 Yards, "Dial" scope past, 250 yds, out to, 600 yards
